Brooklyn born and Detroit raised, Kevin is a true pioneer in the electronic music world. Along with his friends Derrick May and Juan Atkins, Saunderson is considered to be one of the originators of techno, especially Detroit techno. His diverse productions under his many aliases (including E-Dancer, Tronik House, and Inner City) have gotten rotation everywhere from the most underground clubs to the UK top 40. As a DJ, Saunderson is intensely focused on giving the crowd a true musical experience, with each track building upon the next.
