This month Dub War showcases two new talents who have made an impact
on the dubstep scene over the past year. Dutch producer 2562 has
pioneered the use of minimal techno elements within dubstep, bringing
new textures and moods and opening dubstep's bass-heavy palette to a
new audience of ravers. Meanwhile, Philly's street bass ambassador
STARKEY has re-imagined UK grime, updating the sound with unexpected
sonic touches and emotions on his debut album for the legendary Planet
Mu Recordings. Expect a night of wildly diverse and inventive sounds
that continue to push the envelope further out into the unknown.
