WhateverWhatever Records and LOVE NYC are proud to announce an Exclusive DJ set by dance music luminary TREVOR JACKSON. He will be at the helm of the LOVE Sound System on Thurs 7th February for what promises to be one of the top club nights of the year! Jackson, under monikers PLAYGROUP and UNDERDOG, has remixed artists such as Massive Attack, The Gossip ,Franz Ferdinand , U.N.K.L.E, whilst producing countless original tunes for his, now legendary, OUTPUT RECORDINGS label, helping to catapult the careers of groups like LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, and Four Tet. Most recently Trevor was approached by K7 Records to compile and mix the critically acclaimed Kings Of Electro compilation, and has also released selected tracks from his own label on 'I Hate Music' a compilation of Output Recordings 1996-2006. Joining Trevor in the booth will the resident rabble rousers from Whateverwhatever Records, Justin Strauss, who himself has remixed the likes of Depeche Mode , Goldfrapp and 808 State to name just a few, Dj/Producer Bryan Mette aka Carlton Banks (Coco Machete Records) and Billy C (Hacienda/Homeclub,UK) who will be playing a very special Balearica set in the lounge.
